apropos of nothing

Today at lunch I went to the deli located in the same building as the class I am taking. While there, I drummed up a conversation with a fellow throwback girl who is taking the same class that I am.

What followed was PRETTY BIZARRE.

• Her name is Rachel
• Rachel has little bangs
• Her husband's name is Jason
• Jason has arm tattoos
• They have a sincere appreciation for 50's and 60's culture
• They have two cats
• One of them is named Elvis

Obviously, in addition to this, Rachel is in the insurance business.
