I had a great time this weekend.

Friday we went grocery shopping and somehow it turned out being a really romantic trip. Is that weird? I think it might be, but it felt amazing. Afterwards we watched Righteous Kill and - I have to be honest- I was not that impressed. I figured the only reasonable consequence of Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro on one screen was awesomeness of the highest proportions. Nope.

Saturday I spent the day with Laura and her lady family plus Dave and OH.MY.GOODNESS. - it was the bee's knees. Plus, I got a really nifty reusable grocery bag out of it. Cory and I stayed home and cuddled on the floor cushion that is quickly becoming the most saught-after piece of furniture in the house.

Getting our pedicures on.

Sunday we had breakfast as usual and stopped by home depot where we picked up some track shelving for Cory's studio. He had a $25 gift card and we spent $24.95! We chickened out on Kick Ball, but we will definitely make it out next weekend. I made meatloaf. It was aiight.

Today I was off work so I went with my mama and Zoe to have lunch with my sister. We went to Rice Epicurean and I bought Cinnamon tea. Afterwards we drove by this car dealership that has a car that Zoe wants and the owner turned out to be a classic car buff. (as am I) I talked to him a little bit about the falcon and he actually came by my mom's house to look at it. He told me what I needed to do to start on it, and he agreed to help me fix it for $40 an hour and he will let me help and everything so I can fix it myself. Son of a bitch. I am a happy camper.

A special thanks goes out to MLK for getting me the day off. Kudos!
