When I look back on this July 4th, I am going to have a lot to remember.
This will be the July 4th when:
Cory had to work ALL weekend
I lost my debit card
our garbage disposal waste started backflowing into our bath tub
my beautiful white bed linens were ruined by something orange in the washing machine
No worries though, I still managed to have a good time. My uncle owns a cute little dive bar about 4 blocks from our house, and he was having a "grand opening" with free barbecue and a band, so when Cory got home from work, we headed over. Another aunt and uncle were there and we had yummy food and fun conversation. Eventually, all of the drinking I was doing caught up with me, and once again I do not remember how I got to bed. This morning, I have a god-awful headache, and that is an understatement.
I cannot wait for my husband to get home.
